2035: the leaders of the Sovereignty of Southern California passed English only laws and proceeded to change all Spanish names of towns and streets to English. Thus, Los Angeles became Angeltown. 

2035: The American Flu spread all over Angeltown and the region killing over 100,000 people in the region. 

2040: The Founding Partners pushed out the government in Saint Bernard and subsequently the Czar of Education took over and immediately ordered scientist to sterilize the population of Angeltown. The Great Purge rid many areas of undesirables and firm borders laws closed off all traffic between Mexico and the United State. 

2041: After the border closed, criminal and corrupt army officials took over Baja California, Chihuahua, Senora and Coahuila and set the border at natural boundaries. Riots and an uprising lead the government in the capital sue for peace, lest they lose the south along with the north. They gave some concessions to the southern states of Chiapas and Oaxaca and the peace holds, for now. 

2042: The first truancy prison opens to deal with uneducated students and give these malcontents a new purpose in life working for the state. 

2043: A 7.1 earthquake south of Long Beach between Angeltown and Saint James, formerly San Diego. The subsequent tsunami caused flooding of the latter city lead to all the low land being evacuated and a resurgence of the American Flu in the area lead to the city being abandoned by authorities and most of the population. 

2045: The Czar of Education consolidates his power and make Saint Bernard the head of the Sovereignty of Southern California. 

2047: Consolidation of the media into the five channels has been completed. 

2048: New prisons, The Pits, foundations (holes) of abandoned skyscrapers in Angeltown are expanded.

2050: Access to the Internet in the Sovereignty is shut down and the Governet takes over. 

2054: Czarworld ends its ten year run after taking over the amusement park in 2044. The park is now fallow and will be stripped for scraps.
